Aprilia Racing makes a stop in le Mans on the historic Bugatti Circuit for the French GP, the fifth round of the MotoGP World Championship.

Maverick Viñales is ready for a rematch after an intense weekend in Jerez. The Spanish rider will be arriving at one of his favourite tracks, where he has won already – in 2017 in the top class, in Moto3 in 2013, and in 125cc in 2011.

Aleix Espargaró has his sights on taking home a good result after a complicated weekend in Jerez. The Spanish rider will be arriving optimistically at a track where he finished on the podium in 2022 in the race after starting from the front row.

The Bugatti Circuit is known for its mixture of slow and fast corners, characterised by harsh braking and sudden acceleration. Its 14 turns – 9 right-handers and 5 left-handers – are distributed over the track’s 4,185 metres.

MAVERICK VIÑALES
“Le Mans is a track where I’ve always felt competitive. I have the feeling that this year will be special because of the level we have reached and because of the way I feel on the RS-GP24. I think Le Mans will be one of the tracks where we will be strongest. I’m arriving focused and motivated. The atmosphere in France is fantastic and so is the circuit. I can’t wait to see the Aprilia fans in the stands!”

ALEIX ESPARGARÓ
“I’m happy to be going to Le Mans, a legendary circuit where braking is fundamental. The weather is always complicated, so it will be a challenge from that perspective. It’s a track that I like, where I finished on the podium two years ago and in P8 and P5 last year. I can’t wait to get there and to begin reaping the results we deserve.”
