Welcome back to Inside Motorcycles’ online Commuter Bike series and a look at the Yamaha YZF-R3

With an increasing number of urban residents turning to motorcycles as a method of commuting to and from work and around town, we have created this unique video series to focus on this growing segment. Throughout 2018 we invited test riders to join us in one of Canada’s major urban centres and then provide their thoughts on whether or not the motorcycle measured up in each of the following categories:

• Affordability

• Performance and handling

• Appeal to new riders

• Capacity / Utility

• Overall styling

On behalf of all of us at Inside Motorcycles, I hope that you enjoy this series and encourage you to send us your thoughts and feedback.
Patrick Lambie, Managing Editor, Inside Motorcycles
