TORONTO, ON – Multi-time motorcycle racing champion Toni Sharpless has been announced as the final member of the judging panel for the upcoming Toronto Motorcycle Film Festival.
Sharpless, a Canadian Motorcycle Hall of Fame inductee, was the first woman to win a Canadian Motorcycle Association championship. She is also one of the first two women to qualify for – and finish – the Daytona 200.
Her illustrious resume also includes: competitor in Suzuka world endurance series; Bol D’Or and Lemans finisher; Canadian Woman of Influence Award recipient).
Together with the previously announced judges: Preet Banerjee, Warren Milner, Bill Petro, and Viktor Radics, they will select a winner for Best Short Film and Best Feature Film Awards.
In addition to the jury awards, the Festival audience will vote for their favourite film, which will receive the People’s Choice Award.
On August 4, the Official Selection of films will be announced together with ticket information on the Festival’s website and social media channels.
