November 10, 2014- Rain and chilly weather couldn’t keep adventure riders away from the grand opening of Dualsport Plus on Saturday. The motorcycle speciality store, formerly based in Stoney Creek, saw nearly 400 people walk through its new clubhouse doors during the seven hour event.

The grand opening held its promise to be an exciting day, featuring presentations by Lawrence Hacking, author of To Dakar and Back, and Clinton Smout of Smart Adventures, as well as free demos by superbike champion and Brantford native Jordan Szoke. Dualsport Plus fans were given the additional treat of seeing former owners Les and Catharine, whom DSP brought in to be part of the big day.

“Saturday’s grand opening really shocked us” said Rob Long, President of Carrier Centers and Dualsport Plus. “We had an overwhelming turnout of fantastic DSP customers and amazing motorcycle industry legends. I want to thank everyone who came out and supported us; we appreciate it more than you know.”

The new Dualsport Plus lives on at 581 West Street, Brantford. Fall hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 9:00am-6:00pm. Thursday 9:00am-9:00pm, and Saturday 9:00-4:00pm.

The motorcycle speciality store, formerly based in Stoney Creek, was saved from retirement earlier this summer by Carrier Centers. Carrier Centers kept the company name, and moved the shop to a newly renovated building on West Street in Brantford. Whichever direction your adventure may take you DualSport Plus, your Adventure Motorcycle Specialist, has what you need
