Quietly introduced online while the Scrambler was making its North American debut at the AIMExpo last week, Ducati introduced the Testastretta DVT, the first engine equipped with the company’s revolutionary new Desmodromic Variable Timing (DVT) technology. The DVT system uses a valve timing adjuster fitted to the end of each of the two camshafts per cylinder head to modify valve overlap for increased performance and efficiency.

But rather than hear it from us, check out Ducati’s simple and creative mini site explaining the technology.
