The February/March issue of Inside Motorcycles is on stands now!!!
In this issue, we toast the past year and celebrate the start of a new one. We look back with our 2013 Photo Recap, featuring 10 stunning photos captured throughout the year. We honour our Bike of the Year as well, and celebrate the ups and downs of the racing season with our Canadian Racing Year in Review.
On the cover is the 2013 Honda CB500X, the adventure-inspired model in The Big H’s three-bike 500 line. Senior Editor Colin Fraser spent a few weeks with the X and explains what sets it apart from the R and F models, and why it just may be the best of the new 500s. We continue our look back at 2013 with a full review of our long-term test bike, the BMW K1600GTL. Tested over 12,000 km with no less than seven pilots (and a few passengers, too), BMW’s big luxury tourer gets a full, unabashed review in the Feb/March issue.
We look ahead to 2014 with our Cruiser/Bagger Buyers’ Guide, listing every cruiser and bagger available in Canada this year over eight drool-worthy pages, with pricing and specs for every model. Watch for our adventure/dual sport, touring, and sport/standard/retro guides in the next two issues of Inside Motorcycles.
Are you already dreaming about the roads you’ll ride this year once the snow melts and the salt and sand wash away? Editor Graeme Jones offers up a story on an Ontario destination that most people have never heard of — Explorers’ Edge. This riding area just a few hours north of Toronto has some tremendous twisties, hundreds of lakes and forests, and great places to play, shop and spend the night.
It’s Electric: The Zero S is the sporty streetfighter in Zero Motorcycles’ range of e-bikes. Western correspondent Patrick Lambie grabbed a model from All Season Motorsports in Calgary and spent a few days with the buzzing bumblebee, testing the revised version that Zero introduced in 2013. How fast can it go? What is the range on a fully charged battery? These answers and more are in the Feb/March issue of Inside Motorcycles.
All of the above (and more, trust us) is bolstered by our usual assortment of columns, product reviews, racing coverage and industry news.
