Honda has renewed its support of the Honda CBR250R Series for 2013, a program that introduces riders to motorcycle road racing. In a big move (and hopefully a welcome one in terms of bike counts), the previous year’s age restriction will be lifted and riders of all ages will be allowed to compete.
“Honda recognizes the need to develop younger riders and, at the same time, recognizes that others above the previous age cap are also enthusiastic about racing the CBR250R,” said a statement from Honda Canada.

Below are the details of the 2013 program. Interested riders and teams should contact your local Honda dealership or fill out the form by clicking here.

Racers between the ages of 13-25:

With the purchase of a 2013 CBR250R, registered racers will be eligible to receive a certified “CBR250R race kit” for FREE.

* A deposit cheque for $1,500 CAD will be held by Honda Canada and then returned once the racer provides proof of registration in three National CSBK Road Races. (Failure to compete in three National series will result in your deposit cheque being cashed).

Racers older than 25:

With the purchase of a 2013 CBR250R, registered racers will be eligible to purchase a certified “CBR 250R race kit” at a discounted price of $750.00.

* A deposit  cheque for $750.00 CAD will be held by Honda Canada and then returned once the racer provides proof of registration in three National CSBK Road Races. (Failure to compete in three National series will result in your deposit cheque being cashed).

Have a 2011 or 2012 CBR250R and want to race?

If you already have a 2011 or 2012 CBR250R and want to race, you may purchase a certified “CBR 250R race kit” for $1,500.00.

*No deposit cheque is required.

NOTE:

ALL racers who register for the 2013 Honda CBR250R Series before May 31st will receive a complimentary 10×10 Impact Canopy

valued at $700.00+GST.

* Your tent will be delivered at your first race, upon registration.
