@HindleExhaust • @cdnsuperbike • @CTMPOfficial • August 13, 2015 (Port Perry, Ontario, Canada) – Canadian rider Alex Welsh, from Uxbridge, Ontario, will be racing a Hindle Exhaust backed YZF-R1M in the Mopar Pro Superbike class during Rounds 6 and 7 of the Canadian Superbike Championship Series this upcoming weekend.
Welsh, who last raced in 2013 on a Parts Canada Suzuki GSX-R1000, will be making his debut return at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park. During the 2013 CSBK season, Welsh was on the podium at every single round, including a first place finish during round 5 at this weekend’s race venue. The Yamaha YZF-R1M has been prepped and tuned in-house by Hindle Exhaust’s lead designer and technician Scott Cartier, and also by Willie Vass of Vass Performance Cycle.
“Obviously, I am really excited to be back and looking forward to having a bit of fun”, commented Alex on his return to CSBK. “That said, I am under no illusions on how tough the competition will be. The team has been working hard to get the bike ready over the last month or two, so hopefully we can do our best to showcase what it is capable of because it really is an amazing new motorcycle”.
Welsh and the entire team would like to thank: Hindle Exhaust Systems, Vass Performance Cycle, Parts Canada, Flexi-Glass Body Work and Drippin Wet Decals.
