Pirelli returns as sole tire supplier for Canadian Superbike Championship

The Mopar Canadian Superbike Series will open this weekend at Shannonville Motorsport Park in Shannonville, Ontario. The new Diablo Supercorsa Version 2 (V2) DOT and Diablo Superbike V2 slick racing tires will debut in Canadian national competition at this event.

“The Pirelli racing philosophy of ‘We race what we sell and sell what we race’ has been the CSBK model from day one,” states Jeff Johnston, Pirelli North America Roadracing Manager. “The results and data from the last eight years of racing in the Canadian national series and the development of 17 inch tires for the World Superbike Championship has helped Pirelli’s R&D engineers in Italy develop the new race tires for the 2013 season. These new products are now available for road racers all over North America.”
