BUFFALO, NY. – DP Brakes, the pioneer and longtime industry leader in sintered metal braking technology, are excited to introduce our New RDP X-Race Titanium Sintered Brake Pads for the growing number of 250cc and 300cc Road Race Bikes. Since the introduction of these pads for the larger 600, 750 and 1000cc bikes a few years ago, we felt it necessary to introduce this material to the 250 and 300cc lineup.

DP Brakes North America President Larry Mills said, “We have achieved these new levels of racing performance while maintaining our traditional DP Brake pad qualities of superior stopping power, unbelievable feel and are also fade free!! Plus, to add to their performance, they are quiet, dust free and non-abusive to the rotor.”

Mills added, “The RDP X-Race Titanium is a true example of cutting edge motorcycle brake pad engineering. The molecular structure of a carbon additive was changed which enabled a smooth transfer film to be promoted between pad and rotor. To bind this new material we added a Titanium compound which also increased the effective friction level.”

Finally, “all of our RDP X Titanium Road Race Pads include a High Tech Ceramic Heat Shield on the back of each brake pad. This eliminates heat transfer to the piston and ultimately to the brake fluid, preventing the brake fluid from overheating or boiling and causing brake fade. “

Part numbers for the New RDP Race pads are:

RDP412 – 2008-18 Kawasaki Ninja 250/300/400

RDP519 – 2014-18 KTM RC390

RDP535 – 2013-18 Honda CBR300

RDP552 – 2015-18 Yamaha R3
