To be totally honest, my first track day of 2016 started out as a complete disappointment. I arrived at Castrol Raceway's road course confident and ready to ride, having just successfully completed Justin Knapik's On Track Performance Race School less than 24 hours earlier. In seemingly no time at all, my intermediate group received a five-minute warning, and in the time that it takes to start your bike, put on your helmet and gloves and line up, I was out on the track.

BOWMANVILLE, Ont. -- Kenny Riedmann clinched his first Pro title with a second-place finish in the final round of the Hindle Exhaust Pro Sport Bike Championship at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park on Sunday. The Belfountain, Ont. rider finished the season with 193 points to the 151 of Jodi Christie, who vaulted from fifth to second in the point standings with a dominant win in Sunday’s race.

SHUBENACADIE, NS -- Jodi Christie of Keene, ON qualified on pole Saturday for this weekend’s Hindle Exhaust Pro Sport Bike race at Atlantic Motorsport Park to gain a point on championship leader Kenny Riedmann, who will start second. Christie set a time of 1:09.097 on his Jodi Christie Racing / Honda Canada / Accelerated Technologies Honda CBR600RR while Riedmann managed a 1:09.750 aboard the Riedmann Racing / Castrol Triumph 675.

CMDRA Announces Revised 2014 Schedule

The Canadian Motorcycle Drag Racing Association is releasing details of its updated 2014 schedule. The six race series, which includes events in British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario, required revision following the unexpected announcement of the suspension of operations at one of the venues included in the original schedule.

All Canadian Triumph Retailers, Friends of Triumph & Daytona 200 enthusiasts: IT ALL STARTS TODAY!

The AMA Pro Road Racing schedule begins this Saturday with the Daytona 200 at Daytona International Speedway. There are seven Triumph riders in this year’s race that include Apex Manufacturing/Castrol/Triumph riders Jason DiSalvo (the 2011 race winner) and Elena Myers, the first female to win a professional motorsports event of any kind at Daytona International Speedway.
