Brodie Buchan and the whole Buchan Racing team are excited to announce plans for the 2019 season!
Brodie has teamed up with Baer Racing for the 2019 season. Together their primary focus will be racing Kawasaki 750`s in the Production Twins class in the American Flat Track series however, they will attend select Canadian and amateur events. The AFT series will consist of eleven races, five half-miles and six miles. The team intends on competing in the entire series with the goal of winning the Production Twins Championship.
Buchan/Baer will be traveling across the country to compete in these events going as far as California. Since the travel distance is far, Brodie will be holding several raffles and other fund raisers on his Facebook page ‘Buchan Racing’ to help cover some of the expenses. Brodie is also always actively seeking great sponsors and supporters who share his love of the sport, if you are interested in discussing sponsorship opportunities feel free to send us a message.
Here’s what Brodie has to say about his new career path in 2019:
“I`m extremely excited for this opportunity to prove myself not only on a twin but also in the states against the best in the world. I had been talking with Darryl Baer throughout the 2018 season and he agreed to give me a shot on one of his twins at the final round of the FTC series. We hit it off right from the start and as soon as I went out for my first practice, I felt incredibly comfortable on his Kawasaki 750 even though it was my first time riding it and I couldn’t stop smiling ear to ear all day! This off season I`m more focused then ever and I`m looking forward to keeping this momentum up throughout the 2019 season. It will be an incredible learning experience and I can’t thank Baer Racing enough for the opportunity.”
This career move will not affect posts to the Facebook page ‘Buchan Racing’, Brodie will still keep everyone updated through out the day on that page and will also be doing live videos and update videos right from the tracks!
Stay tuned in the coming weeks as Brodie announces his sponsors and be on the look out for raffles and fund raisers done to help Brodie make all eleven rounds.
