Jorge Martin is the fastest ever on the Sepang circuit, with the impressive time of 1:57.790 he earns the pole position and the track record for the second time behind row in qualifying.
After gaining direct access to Q2 having set the fastest time in fp3 the Spanish rider never ceases to amaze, and with an awe-inspiring fast lap tomorrow he will start from the front row of the grid.

Jorge Martín
Super positive day, we worked really well, we couldn’t have done better honestly. Tomorrow we can aim for very important positions, I can fight for the win.

Johann Zarco
This morning I did not go very well, I lost time and if you start from q1 already everything is more complicated, plus it is really very hot so it’s even harder. The pace  is not bad, but we still have some problems, so it will not be easy but we will try.
