Suzuki Canada is very proud to announce the concurrent launch of two all-new 2024 motorcycles: GSX-S1000GX and GSX-8R. These two new models are truly exciting, offering even more choice to the consumer, the details of which are outlined below.

THE ALL-NEW GSX-S1000GX – THE SUPREME SPORT CROSSOVER
While the GSX-S1000GX shares many characteristics with the other members of the GSX-S family such as the controllability, comfort, connectivity and attention to detail demonstrated in the GSXS1000GT model, the GSX-S1000GX model includes some significant differences, as well. To start with, it is Suzuki’s first ever luxury crossover model. It has a full complement of game-changing intelligent riding technology and comfort measures to make riding an exceptional experience.

Technology for greater adaptability to changing road conditions
The GX features a longer suspension stroke that contributes to its extended front and rear wheel travel, increased ground clearance and comfortable upright riding position. Furthermore, it achieves a whole new level of suspension performance by introducing Suzuki Advanced Electronic Suspension (SAES) — Suzuki’s first electronic suspension — and by adopting Suzuki’s original new Suzuki Road Adaptive Stabilization (SRAS) system. These technologies combine to make the GX comfortable and controllable on road surfaces ranging from urban asphalt to uneven surfaces such as paved country and winding mountain roads.

The result is an exciting new crossover machine that sits comfortably between the sport tourers and adventure tourers. While delivering the aggressive superbike performance and sporty looks that distinguishes the GSX-S series, the GX also provides long-distance touring comfort thanks in part to its upright riding position and equipment features. Suzuki Advanced Electronic Suspension (SAES), the integrated riding modes and control provided by Suzuki Drive Mode Selector Alpha (SDMS-α) and other advanced systems help ensure comfort and controllability, even on less-than-ideal road surfaces. This new model is well worthy of taking its place as the king of crossover touring comfort and riding pleasure, with a level of aggressive-looking supersport styling and attention to detail that will resonate soundly with discerning riders.

THE ALL-NEW GSX-8R – SETTING THE TREND FOR A NEW ERA OF SPORTBIKES
The GSX-8R joins the GSX-S series following the exciting launch of the GSX-8S in the fall of 2022. It features superbike looks that are evocative of the sport bike riding experience combined with the comfort and controllability of the GSX-8S.

The GSX-8R builds on solid engineering advances that the GSX-S series is recognized for. At the core of this is Suzuki’s new-generation parallel twin 776cm3 DOHC engine that was well-received after it was released last year.

Every aspect of the design is geared to delivering a satisfying experience to riders who desire more power than the 650cm3 class can deliver, who aspire to riding a bike with the sharp styling of a thoroughbred sportbike, and who desire a satisfying ride that is reassuring and reliable.

The chassis and free-revving engine respond faithfully in a nonassertive fashion that makes the rider’s style and preferences the focus of riding pleasure on every outing. Riders can easily tap into its full potential and enjoy an exhilarating ride they will continue to enjoy for many years.

Wrapped in the unique styling of a thoroughly modern interpretation of Suzuki’s sportbike heritage, the GSX-8R features an aggressive, mass-forward look that is slim, compact, wellbalanced, and ready for action.
