(January 27, 2016)- After an absence of one year FIM North America is pleased to announce that a two round championship series for Supermoto will take place in 2016.
New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, New Hampshire will be the location of round one on June 17 – 18, and the second and final round will be a street race on August 5 – 6 in Trois Rivieres, Quebec. Both rounds will be televised, with the CMA Sanctioned Trois-Rivieres event featured globally.
USA Pro Supermoto are the series promoters and are including the continental championship events in their AMA Supermoto Championship series.
Marilynn Bastedo, FIM North America President and CEO of the Canadian Motorcycle Association said “we are very pleased to be working with USA Pro Supermoto and glad that the championship includes rounds in both member federations of FIM North America.”
